DESCRIPTION:

This lesson explores how manufacturing has changed over time and facilitates opportunities for students to engage with the exciting technologies used by engineers and designers.

OBJECTIVES

Students will:

  • understand and define advanced manufacturing.
  • evaluate how and why manufacturing has changed over time.
  • apply an understanding of modern manufacturing to design a new product.
